My Approach
I understand from personal experience the challenges sleep deprivation brings. It can affect the entire family, causing anxiety, stress, and a general sense of overwhelm. But with better sleep, life improves for everyone – we’re happier, healthier, and more productive in our daily lives. These days, many of us are juggling multiple responsibilities: work, household responsibilities, and childcare, often with limited support. At The Cheshire Sleep Coach, my goal is to be a part of your support network, helping to lighten the load, offer hope, and show you that change is possible. I want you to embrace the early years of parenting, not just survive them.
If bedtime fills you with anxiety, if you’re exhausted from restless nights, or if you find yourself constantly watching the clock during nap time, I am here to provide the knowledge, reassurance, and confidence you need to make changes to your child’s sleep and comfort levels. My aim is for new mothers to thrive, not just ‘survive’ during this important time with their little ones.
Sleep can be an overwhelming topic, with so much conflicting advice about what works and what doesn’t. The truth is the best approach is the one that aligns with your family’s unique needs and your parenting style. I have received the highest level of training, and I’m fully equipped to support you and your family. My approach takes a holistic view of your baby or toddler’s sleep, creating a personalised plan based on their current sleep habits, diet, reflux, temperament, and any other factors that may be affecting their rest.
There is no “one-size-fits-all” solution for every child and family. What works for one may not work for another, so it’s important to choose an approach that aligns with you and your family. As an infant sleep coach, I will take the time to carry out an in-depth consultation, getting to know both you and your child, and we’ll work together to decide on the most effective approach that will be tailored to your little one’s age, temperament, and development. My role is to listen carefully and look at the whole picture so I can guide and support you in setting realistic goals around your little one’s sleep and comfort levels. I’ll walk you through the various approaches available, offering continuous support as you implement positive changes.
