Acceptance of Terms
1. By accessing The Cheshire Sleep Coach website or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Qualifications & Scope
2. I am a certified Sleep Coach with training from The Parent and Baby Coach Sleep School. However, my sleep coaching advice should not be considered a medical diagnosis. If you have concerns regarding your child’s health, we advise you consult your doctor or a medical professional. I can help identify sleep issues and recommend when medical advice may be needed.
Pre-Consultation Requirements
3. Depending on your chosen package, you must complete and return The Cheshire Sleep Coach Questionnaire at least 48 hours before the initial consultation.
Safety Recommendations
4. I strongly recommend all parents follow the SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) guidelines. For more information, please refer to The Lullaby Trust (https://www.lullabytrust.org.uk).
Payment Terms
5. Payment for all consultation services must be made in advance of the first consultation.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
6. In the case of unforeseen circumstances, I reserve the right to cancel appointments with as little notice as needed. If this happens, I will offer an alternative date for the consultation.
If you, the client, need to cancel your package, the following refund policy applies:
• Less than 48 hours notice: no refund.
• 48 hours to 7 days notice: 50% refund.
• 8 days + : 75% refund.
8. If you, the client, decide to discontinue the package before the ongoing support weeks are complete, no refunds will be issued for unused services.
9. Any medical or feeding concerns should be addressed early in the consultation process to ensure they are considered when developing your sleep plan.
10. Your sleep plan will be sent to you within 72 hours after the consultation.
11. Parents are encouraged to carefully review their sleep plan before beginning any new sleep routines or changes.
12. For successful sleep coaching, it is crucial for parents to follow the sleep plan consistently. The outcome depends heavily on your adherence, and by agreeing to the coaching, you commit to working alongside me to achieve the best results.
13. While the methods I use have been successful for most families, The Cheshire Sleep Coach cannot be held responsible for outcomes that do not meet expectations during the coaching process. The responsibility for success lies with the parents after the consultation period has ended.
14. If you do not see progress within the first two months and have followed the plan, I may suggest further steps, including consulting a medical professional to rule out underlying issues.
Support Period
15. During the support period, I am available for contact from 4pm to 9pm Monday to Thursday, 3pm to 6pm on Fridays, and 9am – 12pm on Saturdays. I do not work on Sundays. During this period, messages and emails will be replied to as promptly as possible within working hours, typically within 24 hours, though responses may occasionally take longer.
16. The Cheshire Sleep Coach follow-up service includes unlimited text and/or email support for clients during the designated support period based on their package.
16. Additional phone calls are charged at £40 for 30 minutes.
17. The support period is non-refundable and lasts for the agreed duration (usually one week unless otherwise specified). This period can be used up until one month after the consultation. If unused, no refund will be provided. Additional support beyond the initial package is available at a charge of £85 for 7 days of text/email support or £40 for a 30-minute phone call.
Liability
18. You are fully responsible for using the guidance provided by The Cheshire Sleep Coach, and I cannot be held liable for any damages, including incidental or consequential damages, or for any personal injury or wrongful death that results from following or failing to follow the guidance.
19. The content provided by The Cheshire Sleep Coach is for personal use only. Sharing it for financial gain, including sharing it with friends or using it in your own sleep support business, is a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
